Scan your WordPress site and get a clear, plain-English report showing what is hurting your trust, SEO, and conversions — with a prioritized fix list.

== Description ==

**Website Fix Finder** runs a comprehensive audit of your WordPress site and produces a scored report in plain English — no technical jargon, no confusing dashboards. It shows you exactly what is wrong, why it matters, and how to fix it, in terms a business owner can act on immediately.

All checks run entirely on your server. No data is sent anywhere.

= What It Checks =

Website Fix Finder runs over 40 checks across 8 categories:

**Website Basics**
Site title, tagline, homepage type, HTTPS/SSL, clean permalink structure, search engine visibility, timezone, and language.

**SEO Foundations**
Homepage title quality, readable homepage content, H1 heading presence and count, number of published pages, descriptive page titles, image alt text, internal links, and SEO plugin/sitemap detection.

**Trust Signals**
Privacy policy page, contact page, about page, terms or disclaimer page, visible contact info on the homepage, and trust-building language.

**Local Business Readiness**
Local intent keywords, address or location information, Google Business Profile link, and LocalBusiness schema markup.

**Mobile & User Clarity**
Clear call to action, navigation menu, non-empty homepage, service or product pages, and shortcode clutter detection.

**Content Quality**
Placeholder text detection, default WordPress pages, homepage content depth, page variety (About / Services / Contact), and stale default posts.

**Technical Health**
PHP version, WordPress version, active theme, debug display visibility, Site URL / Home URL consistency, uploads directory writability, REST API accessibility, and WP Cron status.

**Conversion Readiness**
CTA phrases, contact path clarity, service/offer language, social proof, value proposition, and site-wide contact info.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this plugin send my data anywhere? =

No. All checks run entirely within your WordPress install. Nothing is sent to any external server.

= How long does a scan take? =

A typical scan completes in 3–10 seconds depending on your server speed and the number of pages on your site.

= Will running a scan affect my site's performance or visitors? =

Scans run in the WordPress admin only and are triggered manually. They do not affect front-end performance or the visitor experience.

= Does this plugin guarantee my site will rank better in Google? =

No plugin can guarantee search rankings. Website Fix Finder helps you identify and fix common issues that negatively affect SEO, trust, and user experience — which can improve your results over time.

= What does the score mean? =

Your Website Fix Score reflects how many of the 40+ checks your site passes:

* **90–100** — Excellent: Your site is well configured.
* **75–89** — Strong: A few areas to tighten up.
* **60–74** — Needs Improvement: Several issues worth addressing.
* **40–59** — Needs Work: Multiple problems likely affecting your results.
* **0–39** — Critical Attention Needed: Significant issues that should be fixed soon.

= Can I re-run the scan after making fixes? =

Yes. Click **Run Website Scan** at any time to get an updated score and see your progress.

= Is there a Pro version? =

A Pro version is in development. Planned features include multi-page deep scans, branded PDF reports, weekly scheduled scans with email summaries, score history tracking, WooCommerce and local SEO checks, and an agency white-label mode. No date has been announced yet.

= What happens to my data if I uninstall the plugin? =

Uninstalling the plugin removes all stored scan data from the database automatically. Nothing is left behind.
