Using This Website

  • Don’t break the site, scrape it, or try to access anything you’re not allowed to. (Yes, irony noted.)

Engaging Services

  • Scope & Pricing: Defined in your proposal/quote. Changes require written approval.
  • Payments: Typically a deposit to start, balance on milestones/delivery (details in your quote).
  • Content & Access: You’ll provide timely content/approvals and access needed to work.

Intellectual Property

  • Your stuff: You retain rights to your pre-existing content and trademarks.
  • Deliverables: Upon full payment, you receive a license or ownership as stated in your proposal. Third-party licenses (themes, plugins, fonts) remain subject to their terms.
  • Portfolio: I may display non-confidential work in my portfolio unless you object in writing.

Confidentiality

I keep your private information confidential and use it only to perform the work, except where disclosure is required by law.

Warranties & Disclaimers

  • Services are provided with reasonable skill and care. No guarantee of specific rankings, traffic, or revenue.
  • THE WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant services, and excludes indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from claims arising from your content, instructions, or misuse of deliverables.

Support & Maintenance

Support after launch is available via care plans or hourly as agreed. Open-source updates and third-party changes may affect performance or compatibility over time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Venue: Sacramento County, CA.

Changes

I may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the site/services after changes means you accept the new Terms.
