Accessibility Statement
I’m committed to making BenTreder.com usable by everyone. My goal is conforming with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort — if you run into trouble, please tell me and I’ll fix it fast.
Measures I Take
- Semantic HTML, labels, and landmarks for screen readers.
- Color contrast checked against AA, keyboard-friendly navigation.
- Reduced motion defaults where appropriate; no flashing content.
- Images with descriptive alt text; meaningful link text.
- Performance tuning to reduce cognitive load and timeouts.
Compatibility & Technical Specs
The site is designed to work with modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and assistive technologies. It uses HTML5, CSS, and minimal JavaScript.
Known Limitations
- Third-party embeds or external websites linked from pages may not fully meet the same standards.
- Older blog content may be in the process of receiving improved alt text/captions.
