ConvertX Documentation

Install ConvertX, activate the Pro add-on, create campaigns, set triggers, collect leads, export CSV files, review analytics, and place inline CTA campaigns with a shortcode.

Requirements

ConvertX is built for WordPress sites and can also be used with WooCommerce stores.

WordPress

Install ConvertX on a working WordPress website where you have administrator access.

PHP 7.4+ or PHP 8+

Use a modern supported PHP version for better compatibility and performance.

WooCommerce optional

WooCommerce is optional, but required for product, cart, and checkout display rules.

Install ConvertX Free and Pro

Install the free plugin first. Install ConvertX Pro second if you purchased the paid add-on.

1. Install free ConvertX

Download the free ZIP, then go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Upload and activate it.

2. Install ConvertX Pro

After purchase, the Pro ZIP is emailed to your purchase email. Upload and activate it alongside the free plugin.

3. Confirm the menu

Go to ConvertX in WordPress admin and confirm the campaign builder, leads, and analytics areas are available.

Create a campaign

Start with one real business goal.

Campaign types

Popup/modal, sticky announcement bar, slide-in box, or inline CTA box.

Trigger options

Time delay, scroll percentage, click trigger, or manual shortcode placement.

Shortcode usage

Use [convertx_campaign id="123"] for inline CTA placement.

Lead capture

Use optional name, email, and phone fields depending on the campaign goal.

CSV export

Export lead data from the WordPress admin.

Analytics

Review impressions, clicks, leads, and conversion rate.

Troubleshooting

Start with these checks if a campaign is not showing.

Campaign not showing

Check status, display rules, trigger settings, cache, and whether the page matches the selected rule.

Inline CTA missing

Confirm the campaign ID is correct and the shortcode format is correct.
