Wildcard Life Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026 • Applies to the current Android alpha

Short version: Wildcard Life is a local-only game. It does not ask you to sign in, it does not collect personal information, and your game progress stays on your own device.

Overview

Wildcard Life is a choice-driven life simulator currently in Android alpha, made by Ben Treder. This page explains how the game handles information in this alpha stage. We kept it plain and honest. If anything changes in the future, this page will be updated.

Information We Collect

In the current alpha, the game does not collect personal information about you. Specifically:

Local Game Progress

Your character, choices, stats, and unlocks are saved locally on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This information stays on the device and is under your control. Removing the app, or using the reset option described below, clears that local game progress.

Ads and Purchases

The current alpha does not show real ads and does not include real in-app purchases or paid services. Any "premium" labels you see inside the alpha are previews of planned features, not live transactions.

Analytics

The current alpha does not use analytics or third-party tracking inside the game. We are not measuring your individual play sessions remotely.

Resetting Progress

You can clear your local game progress from inside the app at any time:

Open Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone, tap Reset All Progress, then confirm.

This clears local app progress on that device. It cannot be undone, so use it when you really want a clean slate.

Children

Wildcard Life is a general-audience life simulator. Because the alpha does not collect personal information or require an account, it does not gather data from anyone, including children.

Future Updates

As the game grows, some features may change. If a future version adds anything that handles personal data, online accounts, real purchases, or analytics, this privacy policy will be updated to explain it clearly before or when that feature ships.
