Privacy Policy

Adiaphora is a decision-guidance and reflection app created by Ben Treder.
Adiaphora helps users think through hard choices by asking a decision question, one follow-up question, and then providing organized guidance. The app may use AI-assisted technology to create guidance when Premium is active and an AI provider is available.
Information stored on your device
Adiaphora may store the following information locally on your device:
- saved reflections
- decision questions
- follow-up answers
- revisit notes
- tone and answer length preferences
- local memory and personalization preferences
- app settings
This information is stored on your device so the app can show saved reflections, remember your preferences, and personalize the experience. You can delete saved reflections, reset memory, or delete local app data from inside the app.
Premium subscriptions
Adiaphora Premium is managed through Google Play and RevenueCat. Subscription status may be processed by Google Play and RevenueCat so the app can unlock Premium features.
RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as product ID, subscription status, transaction identifiers, app user identifiers, device/platform information, and related subscription events. Adiaphora does not receive or store your full payment card details.
AI-assisted guidance
When AI-powered guidance is enabled, your decision question, follow-up answer, relevant settings, and limited context needed to generate the response may be sent to an AI service or backend provider to create guidance.
Do not enter sensitive personal information that you do not want processed by an AI service.
Adiaphora does not use AI to help plan illegal, harmful, violent, abusive, fraudulent, self-harm, or dangerous actions. Safety checks are used to block unsafe requests.
Reports and safety feedback
If you report or flag advice in the app, the app may store that report locally. If future backend reporting is added, this policy will be updated to explain what is collected and how it is used.
What Adiaphora does not do
- Adiaphora does not sell your personal data.
- Adiaphora does not show ads.
- Adiaphora does not require an account for the current app experience.
- Adiaphora does not store full payment card details.
- Adiaphora is not a replacement for legal, medical, financial, emergency, or professional help.
Data deletion
You can delete saved reflections and reset local memory from inside the app settings. You can also remove app data through your Android device settings.
Third-party services
Adiaphora may use:
- Google Play for app distribution and subscriptions
- RevenueCat for subscription status and purchase management
- AI service providers for Premium AI-assisted guidance when enabled
- Expo/React Native libraries used to build and run the app
Children
Adiaphora is not designed for young children. The subscription is rated 13+ in applicable US states.
