Mealfolio support

Let’s make the next meal easier.

Mealfolio is in internal and closed-testing preparation. Clear steps and device details help make every report useful.

Troubleshooting

Common things to check.

Mealfolio is local-first, so most core workflows do not need an internet connection.

App will not open

Restart the device and try again. If the issue continues, record the Android version, app version, and whether this was a clean install or an update. Do not clear app storage until you have exported a backup you want to keep.

Recipes or calendar meals are missing

Check that the app finished its first-run seed. Return to Home, reopen the destination, and confirm the date/month selection. Share the exact recipe name or date in your report, not private meal details.

Kitchen or Shopping is not updating

Return to the destination after saving, force-stop and reopen, then test again. Report the item type, action, and expected quantity. Avoid sending a private backup file by ordinary email.

Premium or restore purchase

Premium is an optional one-time Google Play purchase. Google Play must provide the product details before the purchase button becomes available. Use a Play license tester for testing and never send purchase credentials.

Backup or restore problem

Use Android’s file picker and a Mealfolio JSON backup. Restore is replace-only and requires confirmation. Keep a safety copy of any important backup before replacing local data.

Sharing or reinstalling

Recipe sharing opens Android’s Sharesheet. Reinstalling or clearing storage can remove local data; export a backup first if you need to preserve it.
